"Noted existential psychoanalyst Dr. Dan L. Edmunds will discuss about the impact of oppression in creating emotional distress, economic situations that have put persons in a feeling of survival mode, and issues of disparity and inequality. Dr. Edmunds will also discuss the current medicalization of human experience leading to persons becoming numb and apathetic. Following, Dr. Edmunds invites an open dialogue about solutions and ways we can once again forge community and create a more just society."
